Newborn Benefit
- $5,000 life insurance coverage for natural born child begins on day 3 and continues until age 1.
- Parents must validate coverage by completing attached card and returning it to the GCU Home Office within 60 days of birth
- Premature births are not covered until a normal gestation period has been achieved.
- Coverage for deaths which occur because of congenital or neurological abnormalities are not included in this program.
- Newborn must be baptized in a Catholic Church or one parent must be a current GCU member.
