Lodge 860 - Detroit, MI
The Lodge 860 second quarter meeting took place on June 13 at St. Nicholas in Clinton Township. A Flag Day ceremony preceded the start of the meeting. Patriotic songs were sung and a poem was read by Jim St. Germain.
The lodge voted to help defray the cost of the district yearly meeting meal by giving the district a $5 stipend for each of the lodge’s delegates. Additional guests would be expected to pay $5 for their own meal.
The lodge is sponsoring two holes at the district golf outing which will be held on August 14. Proceeds will go to help fund the district scholarship program. The third quarter meeting will be August 29.
