     GCU St. John Lodge 76 quarterly meeting met June 1, 2008 at St. Michael’s Byzantine Church in Donora, PA.
     President Eleanor Palchak called the meeting to order. Father James Regan led the membership in opening prayer and the Pledge to the Flag was recited.
     Mrs. Palchak called upon the officers to give their respective reports. Barbara Timo reported on the credentials she received as a delegate to the National Convention in Baltimore.
     Father Stephen Wahal, Pastor of St. Michael’s Byzantine Church in Donora was welcomed as a guest to the meeting.
     Father Wahal and Father Regan reported on the considerations for improvement in the Mon-Valley for Byzantine Catholic Spiritual needs.
     Father Regan presented a $500 donation for the Charleroi area food pantry located in Holy Ghost Byzantine Catholic Church. Susan Braunegg, President, accepted the check.
     The meeting was adjourned and Father Wahal led the closing prayer. Lunch was served by David Syrko.
     Stephanie Syrko, a lodge 76 member and daughter of David Syrko attended the meeting. She is a Ringhold High School graduate and will attend college in September.
