Sunday, March 21, thirty-three youth bowlers participated in the 2010 District Three Junior Bowling Tournament West at Cloverleaf Lanes in Independence, Ohio. On arrival bowlers checked in with Jerry Holderbaum and were given their lane assignments as well as a refreshment ticket. At 1 pm Jerry announced that the bowlers should begin the competition. National officers attending the event were National Director Michael W. Karaffa and Supreme Tribunal Member Judy Weitzel.
Following the completion of the bowling, all participants were awarded ribbons. Winners were then announced by Jerry and trophies were handed out by District President Dennis Chrustic.
The winners are: Age 2-3, Ollie Sinko; Age 4-5, Brady Karam and Lauren Dicenza; Age 6-7, Adam Karam and Gabi Atanaskovic; Age 8-9. Joe Wulff and Marissa Sidoti; Age 10-12, David Kisha and Annika Kisha; Age 13-15, Michael Cimperman and Andrea Trompak and in the 16-18 age group, Joseph Tombazzi and Amanda Trompak. Congratulations to all the winners.
The District 3 Junior Tournament East will be held on April 11 at the Holiday Bowl in Youngstown, Ohio at 1 pm. The Hoop Shooting Contest will be held on Saturday, April 10 at St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic School Gym in Cleveland, Ohio.
