District
6 held its second quarterly meeting on Sunday, April 27 at St. John’s
Hall in Hazleton with Lodge 89 hosting.
Fr. Peter Donish opened the
meeting by leading those present with the joyous song Christ is Risen.
A light luncheon was served and the meeting was under way.
Athletic
Director Agnes Rohrbach went over information she had in reference to the upcoming
Convention. A time schedule was worked on–Delegates
will leave Hazleton at 8 am on Sunday, June 29 to arrive in Baltimore
in time for the 4 pm Liturgy, which will be held at the hotel. The
bus will return on Wednesday, July 2 around 11 am for the return trip
home.
